Abstract
Bound minute book containing detailed record of the deliberations of, and resolutions adopted at, stated and special meetings of the board of managers of the Woman's Hospital of Philadelphia. Founded in 1861 by Ann Preston, M.D., Woman's Hospital of Philadelphia (WMH) provided clinical experience for the College students and practical training for nurses, and had its own administration and Board of Lady Managers. Note that minute book contains index at back.
