| Abstract: | In 1998, the W.W. Hagerty Library of Drexel University made migration to an electronic journal collection as quickly as possible a key component of its strategic plan. With few exceptions, if a journal is available electronically, only the electronic version is purchased whenever possible. Drexel's journal collection now consists of 800 print subscriptions and 5,500 current electronic journals. This paper describes the impact of this decision on the Library and the major issues, many not yet resolved, that we face. |
