Title: The role of methodologies in IT-related organisational change
Authors: Gasson, Susan

Information Systems Development
Issue Date: Sep-1995
Publisher: British Computer Society
Citation: Paper presented at BCS IS Methods Specialist Group, Northeast Wales Institute, UK.
Abstract: Despite much academic interest, little is really known about information systems development and the use of systems development methodologies. There has been little evaluation of methodologies in use and only limited research into their selection, adaptation and use, in practice. This paper relates theoretical work to empirical studies on these issues and discusses the implications for research and practice.
