| Abstract: | Most existing question answering systems do not always provide satisfying answers to questioners. One way to improve this situation is to incorporate contextual information into answering systems. We present a framework for a multi-dimensional (MD) Context-aware Question Answering System (ConQAS) for the Math Forum digital library. Our MD context model uses the following four context dimensions: the user’s navigation path, the domain specific ontology term representing the question, the question type, and the user level. The model would provide more accurate answers by using the contextual information. The MD context-aware component also reuses the questions and answers from the archives. |
