| Abstract: | In this paper, a low-cost visual tracking control system using video images and embedded computer is built and demonstrated. The target object in the image is separated from the rest of the image based on the special feature of the object. The position information of the target is then determined and used by the tracking controller to control the two motors in a pan and tilt head unit to rotate the camera horizontally and vertically until the target object is at the center of the image. |
